what to wear

Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Feel free to bring a few outfit options – we’ll be happy to help you make the final selection on the day.

Please ensure all your outfits are clean and if necessary, have been ironed or steam cleaned.

Be mindful of pilling or loose strands, as the camera can pick up these details in your portrait. While I can edit out some obvious culprits within reason, it’s always best to start with a clean look rather than rely on post-editing.

We will mostly be focusing on your head and torso. But consider selecting a complete outfit, rather than just a shirt/jacket/top.

If there's time, you may be able to change outfits during your session. However, consider wearing clothes that are easy to change into so you don’t lose any of your valuable time slot.

If you wear prescription glasses, make sure you give them a good clean before you arrive.

When choosing your outfit, try to avoid very fine patterns and stripes, as they can sometimes create an unwanted moiré effect. See an example below:

hair + makeup

We will leave hair and makeup for you to organise.

If you don’t usually wear makeup at all, perhaps consider a light application of moisturiser or foundation, some blush and a neutral-coloured lipstick.

If you regularly wear make up, perhaps bring in your essential products for last-minute touch-ups and some powder for any unwanted shine.

The schedule is designed to give everyone – including you – our full attention during their session. Please arrive on time so we can keep things running smoothly and create a relaxed, stress-free experience for you.

We understand that sometimes life happens. If you’re running late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but to be fair to other clients, we may need to reschedule your session.

If you’re more than 10 minutes late for your allotted time slot, we’ll do our best to fit you into the next available session. However, if no other slots are open on the day, your deposit will be forfeited.

PLEASE NOTE: The balance of payment is due when you arrive for your photoshoot. Payment can be made with cash, PayID or Tap n Pay*
